Imported from Europe, The Small Indian wood chess set has been handcrafted and hand-finished out of wild cherry natural and stained wood. It features a design by the standard chess sets of India. It’s design was also affected by the European craftman who crafted it, including the Bishop pieces feature an hip-knob that are made of the opposing wood type.

The chess board has been designed to provide the contrast for the wild cherry natural and stained chess pieces, and has a lacquered finish. The edge of the chess board features the rank and file labels. Inside the chess board are individual fitted compartments for storing the chess pieces when not in use, providing protection.
