A full tournament-sized Chess set, it features a 3.75″ King with a 1.6″ diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by master artisans and crafted out of high grade woods. The pieces are burnt to give them an extremely dark color, and features a beautiful glossy finish to further accentuate the details. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish. The design of the Reykjavik II Chess set is an exact reproduction of the Chess set used by the legendary American Grand master Bobby Fischer when he won the 1972 World Chess Championship against the reigning World Champion Grand master Boris Spassky in Reykjavik, Iceland. The Black wood Superior Traditional Chessboard with 2.25″ Squares features Black wood (dark) and Maple (light) squares with a Mahogany frame. This Chessboard is 0.5″ thick, has a moulded edge and a satin finish. Staunton logo is silk-screened on the h1 square.

THE CHESS BOX:

The Premium Chess Box is lined in green billiard cloth, divided and features brass quadrant hinges and a lock & key.
