Mark of Westminster Chess Pieces are the perfection in wood Staunton chess piece design. The chess pieces by Mark of Westminster

The Staunton chessmen are some of the heaviest chess pieces as well as some of the most luxurious. These chess pieces are special
\nwith steel plug inserts for the base that make them extremely heavy, resistant to cracking. The chess set also features three
\ndifferent tops. Not only is there the steel cross, but also a more traditional wooden cross and a signature \u201cW\u201d for the Westminster
\ncollection. This allows some flexibility in how modern or traditional you\u2019d like your chess pieces to be.<\/p>\n

These extremely well weighted chess pieces are Rosewood and Boxwood, which can suit virtually any board color, however Mahogany,

\nis handsome, elegant appearance and strong grain variation. Boxwood Chess Pieces are the near universal standard for ‘white’ chess
