Stage lighting accessories are components manufactured for conventional (non-automated) stage lighting instruments. Most conventional fixtures are designed to accept a number of different accessories designed to assist in the modification of the output.
All stage lighting accessories fall into one of three distinct categories: components installed inside the fixture, components affixed to the front of the fixture (in front of the lens), or components mounted elsewhere on the exterior of a fixture (to the side, top or bottom).
A lighting control console is an electronic device used in theatrical lighting design to control multiple lights at once. They are used throughout the entertainment industry and are normally placed at the Front of House (FOH) position or in a control booth.
All lighting control consoles can control dimmers which control the intensity of the lights. Many modern consoles can also control Intelligent lighting (lights that can move, change colors and gobo patterns), fog machines and hazers, and other special effects devices.
We can help you spec the right control and dimming set for your production. We are able to provide the most simple, straight forward system or a complex moving light rig. Click below for more information.
Dimmers are devices used to vary the brightness of a light. By decreasing or increasing the RMS voltage and, hence, the mean power to the lamp, it is possible to vary the intensity of the light output. Although variable-voltage devices are used for various purposes, the term dimmer is generally reserved for those intended to control light output from resistive incandescent, halogen, and (more recently) compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). More specialized equipment is needed to dim fluorescent, mercury vapor, solid state and other arc lighting.
We offer may professional black-lights for rent.

A followspot, sometimes known as a spot light, is a powerful stage lighting instrument which projects a bright beam of light onto a performance space. Followspots are most commonly used in concerts, musicals and large scale presentations where highlighting a specific, mobile, individual is critical.
Some followspots can be fitted with colorchangers to color the beam, and/or gobo holders to create a variety of effects. Most followspots can be fitted with color gels.
Refers to stage lighting that has automated or mechanical abilities beyond those of traditional, stationary illumination. Although the most advanced intelligent lights can produce extraordinarily complex effects, the intelligence lies with the programmer of the show rather than the instruments or the lighting operator.
An automated light is a versatile and multi-function instrument designed to replace multiple conventional, non-moving lights. Automated luminaires can be a versatile and economical addition to a stock of traditional lights because, with proper programming, they can swiftly alter many aspects of their optics, changing the “personality” of the light very quickly.
A parabolic aluminized reflector lamp (also PAR light, PAR can, or simply PAR) is a type of electric lamp that is widely used in theatrical illumination. The lamps and their fixtures are widely used in theatre, concerts and motion picture production when a substantial amount of flat lighting is required for a scene.
Fresnel spotlights are used primarily where a controllable, soft-edged lighting source is required. Applications include theatre, museums, night clubs, show retail display windows, and many others.
